Offerings:

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage is a dynamic healing art.  It is a beautiful dance where body and space meet and new possibilities are formed.  The experience is one of a kind.  Acupressure, Stretching, Conscious Breathing, Range of Motion and Energy Work are mixed together into a soothing and healing experience.  For thousands of years this form of healing has been used to treat numerous ailments and discomforts as well as a tool for maintaining wellness. Diana incorporates 5 Element Theory from Shiatsu into her Thai Yoga Massage practice.  Note: Thai Massage takes place on a mat on the floor with client clothed.

Integrative Therapeutic  Massage

Diana’s ‘Table Massage’ is a blend of the following massage techniques, utilized to treat the clients needs: Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofacial Release, Kinesthetic Awareness through Movement (a movement based approach to calm and re-educate the nervous system), Energy Therapy (to balance the energy centers of the body to address physical pains and discomforts with a gentle approach), Fascial Counterstrain, and Cupping Massage.  Each session is unique, attending to the needs of the client that day.

Deep Tissue Medical Massage

Educated touch is applied to treat pain and discomforts caused by injuries, stress and long held tensions. Careful listening, engaged curiosity and chosen techniques combine to provide greater movement potentials with a feeling of freedom and ease. A variety of modalities are blended as needed, including NeuroMuscular Therapy, Myofacial Release, Cupping, Passive Stretching, and Acupressure along with massage strokes for circulation and variation from the more detailed work.

Abdominal Massage

The abdominal area of the body is often neglected in massage treatments, however it can be a storehouse for tension. Emotions are commonly stored in the gut. Holdings in the belly affect the whole body through the connective tissue network and energy systems. The process of digestion, bringing nutrients into the body, can be enhanced through abdominal massage. The production of serotonin (the happy social hormone, also affecting bowel movement function) and immune cells produced in the gut are stimulated by hands-on therapy.

Professional Trainings and Public Classes
